About Celia Szelwach
Celia Szelwach, a 2003 Tampa Bay Business Journal Women in
Business Winner, has been designing and delivering high
performance training processes and Organizational Development
(OD) initiatives for government, academic, and corporate entities for
over 16 years.  She earned her B.S. from the U.S. Military Academy at
West Point and her M.B.A in International Trade from the University of
Sarasota.

Celia’s career began at Fort Bragg, North Carolina where she became
a senior paratrooper, earned numerous commendations for her
leadership and training programs and achieved the rank of Captain.  
Upon completion of her military commitment, Celia served as a
Production & Logistics Supervisor, OD Facilitator, and HR Manager for
world-class beverage manufacturer, Tropicana Products.

In 2000, Celia founded her company
Creative Collaborations
Consulting, specializing in organizational development, change
management, leadership coaching, and multicultural business
development.  Celia frequently partners with large corporations and
speaks for professional associations and international conferences.  
In 2004, she served as the VP Professional Development for ASTD
Suncoast Chapter and is a member of the National Society for Hispanic
MBA’s (NSHMBA) and the Hispanic Young Professionals &
Entrepreneurs (HYPE). As a freelance writer, Celia writes the monthly
"Corporate Diversity" column for
Tampa Bay’s Maddux Business
Report, the "Business Sense" column for U Manatee Magazine, and
her future syndicated column "The Career Chronicles" for
TampaBayin.com.

Celia has completed all but her dissertation (ABD) requirements for
her doctorate in business administration with Argosy University and
plans to focus her dissertation on leadership success factors.  She
currently teaches as an Adjunct Professor for Webster University and
Strayer University.

An active community volunteer, she received the 2004 President’s
Merit Award from the Girl Scouts Gulf Coast and helped launch the
Women’s Leadership Initiative (WLI) United Way Manatee County as a
Founding Member and Marketing Chairperson. In 2006,
Sarasota-
Manatee Business
magazine recognized her with their inaugural "Top
25 People to Watch Award."
